At the Barnet Copthorne Range around 20:30.

Thoroughly top bloke and had a great chat with him. He was trying out a brand new set of Taylor made CB irons in the next bay to me. They were fitted with KBS stiff shafts and he was hitting them sweet..... :) He's got a great swing.

Took a very keen interest in my JPX800 pro's and I think I managed to persuade him to get himself off to the Mizuno National Fitting centre, so any Mizuno staff on here, 10% should cover my introduction fee :D :D

he is one player I have always liked on tv, doesnt mince his words and a thoroughly decent chap.

what h/c does he play off Rick? Them TM's look nice tbh
 
He's off 7...play's in a lot of Celeb competitions. He's hosting the Ian Wright Golf Classic in Monte da Quinta Resort in September over 3 days, (only £6,300 per team :o) proceeds go to the Willows Foundation.
 
He does seem a decent guy. Remember him doing a programme trying to get fat kids into sport and another helping inmates at a prison. I know its TV but he didn't have to put himself out as much as he seemed to including his own cash and time

I've seen him swing on TV and he looks a decent player. If his golf is half as good as his goalscoring he'll be pretty solid

To compensate for this fashion faux pas, he did have his pants visible outside his jeans!.....unfortunately Gok Wan wasn't in the next bay to offer advice. :D
 
Sorry - he's a complete knob! Used to play at Burnley with my brother and never stuck around after the games, or spend time to really acknowledge the fans.
