Good Evening.

Yesterday was the start of my training for the winter. I visited a new pro yesterday who is always fully booked and highly recommended.

Started off with videoing my swing etc and getting a insite to it etc. I was shocked of the state of my swing for a 3 handicapper. I was embarressed.

We have went back to the start and going to totaly rebuild my swing as i am loosing alot of distance etc due to my swing.

Very good progress after 1st lesson. I paid for a hour lesson and was still there nearly 45min after my time as he has someone cancel there lesson so went over my swing on video in more detail.

Happy days :)

Winter training is an occasional game, maybe a putt on the carpet, visit the range once in a while with a steaming cup of coffee to wrap frozen fingers around and watch Sky sports in envy from Hawaii at the Sony Open!

Homer will probably be able to give you one of his 6,000 winter drills......... :)

Not even booked any winter lessons up yet. The swing is a mess (when isn't it??) but I seem to be getting it around reasonably for the majority of the holes (except the back 9 in the medal today). I really want to lose my "unique" lifting action on the downswing but after 30+ years it may be too well ingrained. It really is the source of all my inconsistancy though and has to be worth trying even if we only reduce the amount of movement
