Wilson Irons

Dunno about the irons, but I tried a 3w and a hybrid last time I was in AG, and preferred them to Taylor Made. The better price was quite nice too.

They seem to have a nice balanced feel for a higher handicapper like myself.

Can't see that they'd be a bad club. I've played original fat shafts and tried some newer fat shaft recently (mk.5?) and quite like them. I've always been a bit confused between Wilson and Wilson Staff. It annoys me to see *some* of the online retailers sticking the W/S logo next to plain Wilson gear (mainly balls, I add).

My first three sets were Wislon and I loved them, since gone Titleist then Mizuno, and this year got to test the new DIs courtesy of GM.

Can only say it confirmed for me that Wilson are now a long way behind the opposition.

Well just picked up a set and went straight out onto the range and wow, they are so much better than the the clubs I used before (Slazenger HT2), no great surprise there but then I unpacked the 3H and it is almost as good as my Benross 3 wood in terms of distance. For a high handicapper like myself, these are lovely clubs.

If you like them, can hit them well does it really matter what we all think about them?

Personally I don't like them aesthetically but I hope that wouldn't put you off buying them.

I don't like the look of them but I can't knock anyone that uses them well. Its not the lok of the club but the way it performs for the user thats important and if they're working for new then enjoy. Its always great to have nice shiny bats anyway and all you have to do now is get out there and burn it up. Enjoy and have fun with them
