Hi everyone,

Bit of a random and if I’m honest quite specific one this l.

But I was just wondering if anyone else had these particular irons and if so how they are finding them?

I’ve had them since they came out new in 2023 changing them from my ancient but beloved Mizuno MX19’s. I went for a fitting and they were the best option I tried on the day but I just can’t seem to find any real consistency with them when on the course.

For the record I’m a 16 handicap and play roughly 25-30 games of golf a year so I’m fully aware it may be a “me” problem but I’m at the stage where I’m considering changing them as struggling to get on board with them.

Any thought would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I've had Wilson irons in the past. Very good, well respected. I changed because I just fancied a change, nothing sinister.

I'd say if you are doubting them, change. If you look down at the ball and don't trust what will happen next, that's no good for you. It may be you but that doesn't matter now. Trade them in, get something that suits your eye more.

I don't what the financial hit would be but you might have to just suck it up in order to get your irons back on track.

Thanks, yeah I do think there may well be an element of “the trusts gone” as dramatic as that sounds.😂 I’d imagine I’d get a reasonable of not spectacular trade in in them as they’re still in decent nick.

For the amount I play I’d probably consider something like the Caley or Takomo irons as they seem to get e decent review for my handicap/ability level and are a bit cheaper?

That’s for a different thread though. 😂

I had a set and returned them within the GCFC window after 4 rounds.

I just thought they weren't this, or that - a GI iron which didn't improve anything I could say.

To be fair that’s what I feel like. I can hit three shots with exactly the same feel and strike and get three different results. With not playing that often I wanted to give them a fair go but definitely leaning towards changing them out.
