I have avoided shelling out for the PPV fights in last few years, probably a bit OTT to say on principle but was okay with just listening catching up later.
Have found myself thinking about doing so for this one. Just seems an intriguing one. Ironically watching the Wilder Ortiz one might be part of the reason. Plus not really having a clue what state Tyson is really in.

Anyone else intrigued? Or feel free to drag me back to my senses 🙂

I am not going to pay for it ,but I am very much interested in this fight ,like you I am not sure of Fury and his fitness and think he should have fought at least a top ten opponent before taking this fight with Wilder as I think Wilder will be too big a jump from the no hopers he has been in the ring with on his comeback, notice I didnt say fought as they were total mismatches. Wilder will imo beat him .hopefuly it will be a good fight but just lately ppv fights have been a bit of a let down.

👆👆this.
I’ll go for a Wilder KO in the 7th

I couldn't careless tbh, always thought Fury was a bit of a rear end, that was right up until I read he was to donate his fee to the homeless, then the man went through the roof in my estimation, so to contradict my first few words, I hope he wins.

Never liked Fury TBH, comes across as classless (however just read RandG's comment above so fair play to the guy). Saw an article today saying he has lost over 10st in training and is in great shape. Could pose a serious problem for Wilder and if he wins then I think there will be a lot of pressure for Joshua to fight him.

Was interested in this but sadly it will be on at like 4am our time, so forget staying up to watch that. Wilder looks like a windmiller to me, I reckon Fury will deal with him.

Fury should win comfortably on points if he boxes properly and stays disciplined. Wilder has scary power but he's wild so I see Fury out-skilling him and taking a decision. Fury seems in a great place mentally, did a fascinating interview with Joe Rogan that is well worth a listen, didn't shy away from his mental health issues at all. It's good to see him back healthy, fit and in-shape. This could be the best Tyson Fury we've ever seen. Wilder hits so damn hard though that Fury needs to be on his game the whole fight, it really could go either way.

Fury does split opinion with his antics, but I'd highly recommend listening to the pod cast interview he did with Joe Rogan, sheds a whole new light on the man and his depression, very open, honest and at times a hard sad listen.

I really don't like Wilder style and tbh he fought a few bigger names but nobody to me that really makes me sit up and think wow he's awesome. I think a fit Fury who technically very good and can be awkward to fight against can do it and I hope he does. Will I pay to stay up and watch it though, nope..

No bixer should have to lose 10st.
That’s ridiculous.

Apparently he will have someone in the corner who weighs what he has lost.

Wilder seemed to lose it a tad in the face off a couple of days back, but seemed calm post the weigh in.

BBC have picked up the radio rights, some outlets suggesting a 5am start.

I mihgt get up Sunday morning and listen to it on radio 5live:)
It is after all only 20 mins earlier than I get up for work during the week anyway;)

I really don't like Fury as a person but I do think he is durable and could easily wear down Wilder the same way he did to Klitschko. Fury on points would be no surprise to me.

Stuck a fiver on Wilder in 8. That said as a comeback from all sorts of personal demons I'd love to see Fury do it. I think he's conducted himself so much better since coming back from a dark place and I have a new respect for him

I've backed Wilder KO between rounds 4-6 and Fury on unanimous points. I don't see Wilder winning on points, or Fury finishing him. I think a lot will come down to Fury's conditioning. He moves, jerks and feints a lot. The weight loss might not transfer into fitness. I expect to see him switching to southpaw a lot, to reduce the chances of Wilder's huge right hand connecting. If it does, it will be game over. Fury has prove he can meticulously execute a game plan previously so it makes for an intriguing fight.
