Recent weeks have seen some car crash rounds with mid to late 20's in the points scoring and some woo'full games being played, mr mackie had the pleasure of witnessing two on the bounce but had a word in my ear and gave me a clip around the ear on our last round, with a couple of tips thrown in

So after scrapping a tatty 37 points last week I had Saturday and Sunday off with the plan to hit the range today for an hour to focus on some wise words by the above mentioned kind sir then a quick 9 holes.my thinking was its been our spring meeting sat/sun so the course should be quiet,

Got to the course about 8 today to find it absolutely bombed out, so hit the range for an hour as planned hoping the tee would quiet down and I could slip out on one of the 9's somewhere around 10 ISh

10 o'clock came and went and at 20 past I'm still trying to find a slot to fit into . Given we have 27 holes we effective
Y have three starting points so I was amazed that after 45 mins waiting I was still unable to get a tee slot. As I was about to give up. Group come round from the 9 on one of the other 9s to move onto out normal front 9 but one of the group was missing, he had been having a mere and decided brownie points with the misses and kids were more important so he went one after 9' now given these we're guests of the course hence them teeing off our other 9 first I was shocked when they invited me in to join their group , yes you kinda expect this from member but from guests I think is pretty rare.

What followed was 9 holes of sunshine and great golf, with yours truly starting birdie birdie and stumbling home 1 over gross for that 9 graced with a birdie finish on 9. Yup 23 points and 3 birdies in 9 holes.... That's some nice way to finish the bank holiday,

Bottle of sol in hand!

Nice one OS.....

Its great when you can keep the ball rolling...... With my swing changes over the winter iv been playing a bit more consistent golf.....Not home yet by a long way but there are good things happening......

My last 6 rounds iv turned 5 of the 5 over gross and the other 3 over gross...... And once decent weather comes in and the course starts to flourish i think that the winter of hard work will pay off....

Good to hear, glad you've got the game back hopefully your turn next out to keep the GM flag flying high and win some awesome trousers!

Cheers lads, pb...... That's the plan, a decent score at the next one should get me into the top 3

On the plus side got a couple of weekday games this week to keep it moving, and their with customers too, work golf!
