I love Scotland as all my in-laws are up there and we live in Cornwall!
I have never seen a family fight quiet like it once they've all been on the sauce for an evening.

My thinking is perfectly fine thanks!! :D

See - that's the problem - your squinty thinking fools you into thinking that your thinking is perfectly fine - and also that Cumbernauld is Glasgow - though I'm guessing you've been 'decanted'. Me Glaswegian too - and I admit to seriously squinty thinking.

Queensferry Crossing is fine by me, says what it does and where it is which is pretty traditional for a bridge. However everyone will just call it the new forth road bridge. At least its not Rabbie Burns Bridge or Chris Hoy crossing or something equally awful.

should be the 'Nuff' bridge..........

Queensferry sounds like QueensFAIRY............Queens are also regarded as Fairys these days. When the name was announced the people said "That's fairy nuff"

/yes I'm a squinty thinker also

On the M5 at Exeter there are two signs that say "Sign not in use". I wonder if they did it on purpose?

I like that one - I guess the reasoning is the same as why I put 'This Page Intentionally Left Blank' on blank pages in classified reports I write. Though the very presence of the words...ah well.
