1) I have quite a few European friends.
2) I feel European.
3) The EU is far from the undemocratic, bureaucratic and corrupt organisation portrayed by our tabloid press, although I accept that it is far from perfect, but few governments are.
4) Leaving the EU removes my rights as an EU citizen.
5) I detest the Little Englander mentality.

1) Won't they be your friends anymore?
2) You can feel whatever you want.
3) That's debatable
4) What do you feel you will lose?
5) That mentality will always be there regardless.

Says the "Little Europhile..."

1) Good friends are friends for life, irrespective.
2) You will always be European... unless the UK is towed out into the Atlantic
3) According to a Scottish MEP I spoke to in Aberdeen airport it is the most corrupt organisation you could ever imagine. He loves the concept of the EU but felt it is in dire need of some house cleaning.
4) Well, at least you hit one nail with the hammer you keep banging.
5) I detest the Little Europhile mentality - and I also voted Remain.

North America is likely to become increasingly isolationist, particularly if Donald Trump wins the Presidency, and Russia is flexing its muscles again. The UK no longer has an Empire. We are likely to be much safer and more prosperous by staying as a member of a strong and united EU.
