This season?

I think the 3 that occupy the spots just now are doomed.

Only team I can see doing anything is Southampton if they splash cash but I cannot see any of the 3 escaping.

I see my earlier in the season claim about Newcastle was totally wrong......they would love mediocrity at the moment!!!:D

Those 2 wins they have managed recently against rivals will be crucial but I think they may have enough in the team to keep the Wee Club from the North East up.......just.

As long as Twitchy takes QPR down!!

At the other end I don't see many teams fearing what's going to replace them.....Cardiff,Hull,Watford,Boro etc????:mmm:

Any team that's going well with Bruce in charge must be in a poor league.

QPR , Reading & Aston Villa , in with a shout , wigan , newcaslte , southampton & sunderland

Having watched the late game today I can't see Harry doing a Houdini with QPR. None of the players look like they want to play just collect their over inflated fat pay cheques.

I'd say based on games I've seen this season it'll be QPR, Villa and Reading.

As for the championship it's tight and I think end of Feb is when we'll have the true picture of who is going up but likely to be same 3 straight back down the following season as none have good enough squads or resources. Just hope whoever is our 3rd manager this term is better than Berg and that the chicken chasers go with someone that is a proven manager and not one of the old boys!

I can understand what Lambert is trying to do at Villa but he needs to stay up for his plan to work. The club is obviously cash strapped after cheque book spender MON spewed away fortunes (again) so if they do go down they will probably have to punt however they need to and the road back to the top league could be a long one a la Leeds.

I think he'll go on to be a top gaffer if he can get through the next 6 months.

We need some of our injured players back, N'Zogbia, Agbanlahor and Bent to name a few, oh sorry big Ron Vlarr in defence aswell. Basically all of our top players are sidelined.

CLARET AND BLUE ARMY!!!

For a minute there I thought you were on about the Irn Bru Scottish Third Division Dodger ;)

But since you're on about real football South of the Border, I'm afraid I can't see any of the current bottom three making any real progress to safety. Some of these guys wouldn't be out of place in the Irn Bru Scottish Third Division the way they play the game. Villa would be most likely to take one of the places, they just can't score goals.

As for the money these clubs are paying for these numpties to run about masquerading as footballers, it's a joke.

That 'overrated' league earns enough tv money to keep your tinpot league going.

Scottish football would be non existent without the EPL

Bit like your prescriptions, without the English you'd have to pay for them.

Your views about the EPL are rather tedious now fella

My club is just a wee club.

Wee is also a name for the stuff that comes out yer mouth.

Your like a badly played record.

Staying up.

We have enough quality in the side to give us a strong second half of the season.

Every team has their bad spells, same as every village has its idiot, which village you from again?

the 20/1 voucher I have says hopefully it will be Villa (if I didnt have a financial interest Id actually rather they stayed up as at least they are blooding some youngsters and trying to plan for the future, albeit rather naively of late)

Christmas 15 Villa 0 :)

A higher classed one than yerself.

I think you will just have enough and the fact that there is more crap than yer team below you, tough to believe but there is,means you will stay up.

Sad but true.

Higher class? Your gutter posts on here state otherwise fella

For me its Reading,Villa and QPR, Harry should have stuck to playing golf as some of the QPR should get done for impersonating football players.

QPR & Villa + 1 from S'hampton(-11)Reading(-15), Wigan(-13), N'castle(-11). I tend to look at goals conceded to get a feel for who can't keep teams out.

I think it will QPR, Reading and either Villa or Southampton.

Get ready for a january filled of Redknapp doing what he does best, spending large amounts of club owners money....yet the media still tout him as a top manager who is a great man manager who gets the best out of every player who is "lucky" enough to play under him.

God help QPR if thats what the best "man manager" in the business can get out of their players, as they are awful. And even though Redknapp will have been in charge for more than half the season, relegation if/when it comes will all be Hughes' fault.
