White belts: yay or nay?

Not for me but white belt with white trousers on someone like Luke Donald looks ok but Lee Westwood is too old and hefty to carry it off. White belt on black trousers looks bad imo.
For the youngsters I think.
 
if your going to strut about with a white belt you better have the game to back it up.


my brother and his usual playing partner where joined at the tee by my nephew and a buddy of his. the new buddy pulls out a driver with a bright pink shaft. que giggles from my bro and his mate. the guy stands up and belts the thing a mile down the fairway straight as an arrow. that put a stop to the giggles.
 
It's a nay for me but thats because I'm a traditional sort of fella.

I do usually wear the same coloured belt as my shoes, but i don't think I could pull off wearing a white belt on the course.

I've noticed white belts are very fashionable at the moment with the tour pros and the young lads at clubs.
 
Yep - white belt for me. Bit like Haweye it has to be white belt/shoes combo. Not got the look or brave enough for white trousers mind and having seen Smiffy up close it will be a long time before I even think about looking like that

I dont think camell lairds make them in white, they didn't when I asked. :)

Are you in the comp Sunday, we where booked in for 11.30, but mates pulled out at the mo to play saturday, although might be raining, so he may change his mind.
 
Only have white shoes, so have a white belt to match, would look a bit silly if I rocked up in white shoes and a black or brown belt imo. Each to there own though, as long as u look smart and feel happy what's the problem :)
 
Ive thought about this all day and decided that white belts when golfing are cool, even when worn with black pants.. COOL.. The other time that white belts are cool is when fighting someone who knows Karate.. In that case, Black belts are uncool...

Depends if the black belt knows they are in a fight! If they are unaware of the sucker punch from behind then you win. Especially if wearing a white belt. They do look good!
