We'll keep it friendly and throw you in to the fourballs rather than 'alternate shot'? I'll say the same as I do for any of these types of question and say Tommy

Please show your workings for your choice

Poulter

I feel I'd be a rookie this year. (First Ryder cup as a golf fan)

Having the guidance of Poulter during the round I think would be invaluable. He's also the king of ****housery and thats right up my alley.

That and I think I could match him for sheer passion - we'd be a great pair.

Rahm or Rory. Current best and previous best player in the world.

At their best they are on another level to the rest of the European team.

Hovland
He’ll be exciting to watch getting all those birdies…*** or bust, as a friend of mine would say!

Fleetwood, Westwood or Lowry seem like the most down-to-earth guys that you'd be happy to spend 4 hours with. Hovland seems like a laugh as well.

On the flipside, I wouldn't pick Hatton, Garcia or Fitzpatrick. Moody gits all of them.

Sergio:
- Love to team up with that quality ball striking
- He's pretty passionate in match play, would be a good motivator without the Poulter histrionics
- I could help him with his putting

Whoever I partnered would have to beat the oppo with precisely no help from me. To enable us to secure that precious point, the player with the best chance of doing this (albeit unlikely) would be Rory with his highest quality A game. So I'll go for him.
