Where to play?

A group of us are playing Gleneagles on the 15/09 and following a 'quiet' night stay in Glasgow we are looking for a course to play on route back to Southport. Can anyone please suggest the best course.

Depends how far from The M6 you want to venture. Choices include Southerness quite a way to detour; Silloth absolute class; Brampton or Carlisle close to Motorway or nearer home Lancaster
