Where have you fallen asleep?

Working a 30 tonne machine in a quarry pecking. So boring fell asleep and woke myself up by my thumb instinctively pressing the button to operate pecker.

Shat myself with the noise.

Andy

I fell asleep during a Cliff Richard concert my mum took me to when I was about 4.

I generally don't fall asleep when I've had a few sherberts, however, I did fall asleep in the residents bar after my wedding last year.

fell asleep at the cinema ten minutes into the film, what a waste of £8..lol

Did the same at the Pokemon movie -best kip I had in years, money well spent, was grateful not to have been conscious through it.

Outside the airport in istanbul after we won the european cup in 2005. I remember sitting on the grass verge having a drink in the dark with hundreds of fans just milling about then i woke up in a daze and it was light.

On top of a locker in RAF Turnhouse after a night
in the big smoke, then leaning into the cockpit of a glider the next morning!

Not cool

Chris, I take it you're a 661 bod???
I'm ex 614 and have slept many places on the airfield...once on a solo check!!!

CK

Used to be in a previous life, managed to fall asleep on the engine cover of the winch too, like you many places on an airfield.

In a bar in portugal called sullys fell a sleep after several pints and then i was convinced i had walked home with a mate who informed me the next mornign i had not...

On a park bench in Catterick
In an outside loo in Cyprus and woke up covered from head to toe in my own 'mess' and with about 1000 mosquito bites in places that shouldnt be bitten by anything other than your missus
Standing up wedged between two breeze block walls in the guard hut at Chatham barracks
At the wheel of a landrover in Germany after a bridge gallop lasting 36 hours, woke up in a ditch with a sore head btw

At least you never woke up with the local stray dog at the foot of your bed tho.....here Fern!! :D

Nearly fell asleep once with a learner driving the car down the A41. He was test-ready and on his way home. He was so solid I got bored with nothing to put right and just started nodding off. Had to really fight to stay awake.

Also fell asleep having an MRI scan on my knee - just put the headphones on and nodded off.

Had a day in London with three mates last year. Went round the Houses of Parliament, had coffee with our MP, then pub lunch and a few beers. We then went to theatre to watch Phantom of the Opera, which i had wanted to see for years. Of course we all fell asleep through the first half, only to be rudely woken by someone ringing a very loud bell for last orders at half time ! Amazing how quickly you can wake up, and get to the bar when you need to. ;)

back in the day when railway carriages were divided into compartments they had net luggage racks at each side - narrow but except for the bar in the middle, halfway comfortable

then there was the time in Puerto Rico, don't actually remember getting back on board but woke up supported on head and heels on the top bunks across a gangway

under an air red - everytime we put antiflash on.

On a woman

Side of the road (and no-one stopped)

On a bench in the sun for 11hrs and sunburnt one side of my face

Someones front lawn

In the same room as Smiffy at Forest Pines

On a train and did Brighton to London and back 6 times

On a bus going in loops round Crawley for 10 hrs which was weird as there seemed to be people on the bus one minute and then they were gone... and then back again...etc

Whilst driving even though I was trying to rest just the one eye! :(

At a party

At a night club

On the bathroom floor

In the arms of a beautiful virgin BEFORE I'd done the business!!!!!! Damn her!!

Across several seats at the train station which is feckin' uncomfortable as the metal armrests get in the way!

In a haybarn

On the 5th at Ascot whilst watching Homer's pre-shot routine.......

I was a Staff Cadet/CI at 661 VGS many moons ago. It wouldn't be the first time I've nodded off whilst driving a winch on a hot sunny afternoon. :o

on train and missed my stop luckily only one stop down 30 minute wait and gaurd trying to get me to pay again

on the packed bus ,ended up at the bus station 9am after working all night

on the phone after calling my GF at the time(not just once, or twice either :o) after getting in form working shifts til 3:30am & she never hung up she just listened to me breathing....for quite a while each time

.....unfortunately she was in USA at the time and my phone bills were scary as hell

I think the only time I havn't fallen asleep at the cinema was during Shrek 2. As I have slept through every film in the last 35 years of marriage that she's dragged ne to HID assumes Shrek 2 is my favourite film!
