When do you get bored of your home course?

Doubt I'll ever get bored with mine (Dunbar), luckily for me I live close enough to walk (8min), when the tides out that means the walk is across the beach and I see the course across the beach every morning out my bedroom window as the waves roll in,like many links the weather, the tides and the wind make every round every day a different challenge , happily in a beautiful setting on a cracking course. Now...watching golf on the telly... that can be boring ! Yes I'm looking at you JB!

I would do if I was playing it every week but I don't. I only play there about twice a month probably, play other courses on the weeks in between.

I like variety for certain. We forgo holidays abroad for playing at different courses.

As much as I love St Enodoc I really don't think I could be a member there. It is a very tiring course to play :sneaky:

I'm playing Dunbar tomorrow and really looking forward to it.

When Fragger, CVG and me were searching for a new home, one of the criteria was "would we be happy playing the course twice or three times a week.?"
It's always been a major factor in a club for me.
Aylesbury Park may have been lacking in quality but it was a decent layout and I didn't get bored playing that for the 7/8 years I was there.
About to start year 3 at the Zoo and I've not been remotely close to getting bored yet.
I can't see it happening unless I start hitting the ball in the same place every time....like that's ever going to happen:ROFLMAO:

I have St Pierre and Celtic Manor nearer to me than my home course, I didnt join one of them as they are often full of hotel guests and 5 hour rounds.. Think I might join one for the summer months only so I can mix it up a bit, also start playing a different times of the day to see who is about.

Don't keep doing the same stuff and expecting it to change!
