Help please any tips on getting my wheel off of my Motocaddy M1 DHC. Tried WD40 not moving it.
Thanks I’ll pop down and see if they have any.
cheers Bill

I have the same issue at the moment with my winter wheels, I do not want to pull it too much in case I damage the axleI have the same sort of problem with my M3 DHC trolley and I find that the wheel release buttons gunk up which means they are difficult to release. Couple of ways I've sorted this is:
(1) If you're at a golf club and can coax the wheels off with a bit of wiggling and brute force then remove wheels and use compressed air jet aimed at the mechanism inside the wheel's centre hole and around the release button
(2) If the wheels are stubborn to remove then cleaning the area around the release button (such as an old credit card to scrape gunk off, an old toothbrush also useful) then liberally spray WD40 or similar around the area. If you're able to lift the button up manually, e.g. gently prising with a flat blade or screwdriver that might be sufficient to disengage the lock inside the wheel from the groove on the axle. Once released clean the inside of the wheel too, e.g. with an old toothbrush, again spray WD40 inside.
I normally have to do (1) or (2) above every couple of months. I've also tried WD40 white litium grease spray instead of normal WD40 - it seems to be less sticky, therefore attracts less gunk.
Or coppereeze greaseI would agree with the earlier poster about putting a dab of Lithium grease on them before you put them back on.
Well, I didn't want to say that.Or buy a Gokart![]()
If it's helpful, I managed to get mine off by taking some things apart and using brute force. I hadn't had my wheels off since I bought it about 3 years ago and they seemed like they were welded on; absolutely would not budge after spraying with penetrating oil and even did some hammering. I took off the bottom cover and then there were about 14 more screws to get the wheel/axles out. From there I just held the axle and hammered like crazy and the wheel slowly came off. I was a bit concerned about causing damage but I ended up hammering really hard and it didn't damage the wheel. I've included a couple pictures, one of it apart and one of it back together with the wheel off. I put some anti-seize grease on and now they come on and off easily.Hi,
