Low 90s for me, anything over 94 I'm not too happy with. But always try to take the positive out the round. But as we all know, sometimes there isn't one!

It's a tough one to call for me, I have had days where I have been a shot or two over my handicap but grinded it out to get that and have gone home happy and others where I have played solid but felt I let a few shots slip.
I would say if I went out and shot 78 or below I'd be pretty ok with that.

Buffer (80-82) is a good day
Anything sub 80 is a very good day.
83 to 85 is ok
Anything worse than 85 is a bad day at the office

There's times when I've walked off the course having scored reasonable, but felt like I haven't hit the ball all that well & it was a struggle.
Then there are times where I feel I've hit it well & scored poor.
Difference can be a few putts dropping.

I don't play comps,so as long as I feel I've played reasonable & have A laugh I'm happy regardless of score.

Buffer is fine with me. Hate missing it by one especially if I missed a tiddler, but otherwise won't be too disappointed with a score in the mid eighties as there was probably some decent golf in there. Not happy to shoot high eighties but if the weather, banter and company are good or one of our group plays well then it does make it feel a bit better.

Same for me.

However, I've played badly and had fun loads of times so I voted Not Bothered.

I'd say it's more that I'm happiest when I shoot under h/c (obviously) but I can miss buffer and still be happy. I got a tanking in the club champs last year, lost 5&4, but had a cracking day. Played just about on buffer, I think, but it's not just about the score.

I find I can be happy, as a person, but not happy with my golf, in those situations - you can thoroughly enjoy the company, the course or the conditions - but if I play over my handicap, especially in a competition, I will be unhappy at the result.
