What was your first car?

Had a Toyota Corolla GT once that I got up to showing 130 on the A41 near Bicester many moons ago.

Up until last April I owned a Kawasaki ZZR1400. Loved that bike, but decided to sell when I saw one too many friends come a cropper. Used to tour on it with the Missus had some great fun.
Just after I bought it I thought I would wind it up see what it would do. A22 Uckfield bypass, dusk (so I could see all the way up the road and see it was basically clear)...caned it from the roundabout and was pulling 155mph in fourth gear at 10k revs. 1k and two gears still to go and that was enough!
My helmet was proper wobbling....

first car was a 99 festa.. Got it new 225 quid a month with insurance

kept it 3 years till insurance ran out..

And been driving scrap ever since ( as in scrap i mean second hand cars max value 1500 quid )

My first car was a Hillman Imp, P reg.

When I was just a nipper my Owd Man promised to buy me a car as long as I didn't smoke before I was 16.

Loved that car.

Would happily trade my 320i for another.

I haven't made the same mistake with my own kids.
