What do you think of Ludlow GC??

Had a flier about their Opens, its only 90 mins drive from here.

Any opinions? I know it is a Jimmy B, but the website doesn't exactly go "big sell!"

I've only ever driven through it where the road crosses the racetrack where the course is.
It's flat, even if the racecourse is a jump venue!

Not everyone's cup of tea but I like it . Yes you have to cross a the road quite a few times and tee shots on 1 , 7 and 10 are over it . Used to be renowned for quick greens but have a new head greenkeeper and believe they are going down the sustainability route. Talking to a member the other day there changes afoot with holes being changed and redirected , so on balance I'd say play
