In my opinion they were correct although it is odd that lady golfers can practically wear whatever they want. They should be forced to wear proper polo-shirts at least.

I voted yes. They were correct.

Basically, if you're such an egomaniac as to turn up at any course wearing a kilt and expect to get on without at least some discretion on the part of the club then you deserve to lose your green fee. Twit. It's clearly not what would normally be regarded as proper or usual golfing attire. The idiot should have checked first.

Who possesses wire like, hairless, spindly, bandy legs

I actually think the guy was a Yankydoodledandy!

Wanted to play golf like a real "Scotchman" like his great great grandaddy did!!!!

Suprised, if he was a Yank, that he didn't have a fecking Leprechaun suit on as well seeing as 99% of Yanks reckon they are Irish.Knob.

Royal Troon were IMO correct in telling him to hop it.

typical yank, bluster and buster.
Shiney clubs and no idea how to play the game.

Don't beat about the bush, just come out and say what you really mean!!!!

I've got more culture in my yoghurt than the yanks ,they come over here half think there Irish the other half Scots wear kilts and think there ace, knobs - rant over

Bit of a mistake if you are wearing a kilt, traditional style, and have shiny reflective clubs. You could get an interesting reflection of something not normally seen from that angle.

Surely some Yanks can play the game? Or is the Ryder cup going to be a total walkover?

And all Americans are like this? You know like all people from the east end of London eat jellied eels!

Cough cough... ignorant!

Its Troon's bat, ball and wicket so if they want to allow G-strings but not kilts then that's up to them.

Remind me not to go there.....
