Playing Wells GC Wednesday, Axe Cliff on Thursday. Hoping the wind dies down for Thursday in particular! Has anyone played these courses? Any hints or tips?

Played Wells a few times in inter club comps, to be honest I'm not a great fan, always seem to be playing on the side of hill, because of its location. There are a couple of interesting holes, a longish par 3 that is all carry to the green because its cut into the side of a hill and a par 4 that has an elevated Tee Box to an almost blind fareway

Yes played Wells lots of times really nice course.Back nine definitely harder to score on.Straight is good and Driver not always needed.

Played Wells many times, I really like the course. Most holes are as you see them with good variety, trouble on the left on some holes and trouble on the right on others.

Played Axecliff many moons ago, brother used to be member there. Recollect 1st hole goes up a valley ?, few cross over holes and nice views from the top
