Possibly a bit random this but...

Why is that when applying underarm deodorant from an almost empty aerosol one armpit seems to have the spray work perfectly well whereas when switching to the other it just blows out compressed gas and no anti pongy jallop?

Am I alone in experiencing this phenomenon and if not, then how the hell does it happen?

My guess would be that the tube that goes to the bottom of the can is biased towards one side and as you hold it left handed (for example) the tube is at the lower side/bottom and reaches the remaining fluid, but holding it right handed the tube is at the raised side and the remaining fluid is below it.

This sounds very plausible to me

Thats far too sensible an answer!
