Weekly Weigh In-Week 1 (07-01-2013)

Just been weighed and lost another 2lbs which I'm really pleased with. That 6lb in 2 weeks now and without any real exercise apart from a quick 9 holes on sunday.
 
2nd week weigh in, 113.2k.

Down 1.2k from last week, will be very happy if I can drop about a kilo each week.

Next weeks weigh day will be Friday, so 1day less to hit target.
 
Thursday weigh in showed another 6lb off so thats over a stone.

Hoping to get below 23st by Thursday 24th Jan currently 23st 4lb

Played 2 x 9 hole rounds and still cut out white bread and reduced takeways to Saturday Chinese only and massive reduction in chocolate and crisps. Already down a notch on the belt and close to reaching the next which is where i was in Sept/Oct
 
I'm going to weight myself in the morning but I've decided that being cooped up in the house is no good for shedding weight. I don't expect to have put any on but I certainly won't have had a significant drop.

I'm going to wait until the current weather clears and take it from there.
 
Reading this and the fact HID has decided we are both going on a diet I feel it's time for me to join in the fun as we have been at it for one week.

Start weight, 20st 3lb
Weight today 19st 10lb
Loss so far 5lb

I know 20st sounds like I a real bloater but I'm not really. Most people think I'm about 16st as I used to do weightlifting so I have big heavy muscles. My thighs are 27 inches, biceps are 17 inches and my wrists, which have no fat on them are nearly 9 inches. My doctor has worked out I should be around 16-17 stone so I am aiming to get to 16st 6lb over the next 12 months.
All I am doing is cutting out the carbs apart from a small amount for breakfast, no booze but I don't drink much anyway and increasing my cardio exercise on a rowing machine and playing more golf.
 
Weighed yesterday morning at 112.6kilo.

Happy I've come down this week again, 3.4k since we started which is about 8lbs in old money.
 
Well I take it everyone else has given in to temptation now then as noone has posted in the last week.
I for one haven't and this week the scales said

19st 3lb

Another 3 lb gone and I will start upping the excersice now to work on cardio and core strenght.
 
good work Andy!! cant remember my Jan start number, but actually weighed in this morning at 11st 1. thats 1st 9lb since Sept 2012.
 
Not given up just been busy, weighed in on fri morning before leaving for a weekend in Edinburgh (next week should be good)
Weighed in at 12.4k so only 0.2 loss, better than a gain though. Sat for this weeks update.
 
Still working at it, but its hard atm. Last weigh in was 16st 9lbs, so still coming off but very steady, hopefully once it starts to warm up I can get a bit more active and start to shift some more weight.
 
For all those who are stuggling to shift the weight as it's so cold try wearing less clothes. You burn a massive amount of calaries just staying warm but we all sit in centrally heated houses and wrap up like we are in the arctic if we go outside. It sounds mad but try it.
 
Ok I'm going to jump in on this as I just weighed myself at work and nearly died. 16st 3lb. That means I've put on over a stone over christmas.

I've been hitting the gym since mid November. Trainer weighed me in at the start and again today.....

I've gone from 80.5 kg in November to 73.5 today. Pretty pleased with that but still got more to lose..... And a new, tougher gym programme!
