Hi

Courtesy of our Dutch colleagues at "www.thisisgolf.nl" is a free weekly online live feed covering ALL European Tour matches. It has English commentary - just in case you were worrying.

Usually runs Thursday through Sunday - and the broadcast times are dependant on where the competition is. As of writing it is the Joberg open. The feed is live as I write but theres no play yet (11:00 CET). The site says 12:30-16:30 broadcasting.

Here's the direct link which can be opened under either Windows or with a Mac:

Or paste this into your browser.

that's good to know. I usually use beetle or sopcast but will give this a go.

it plays a bit jerkily on mine. Is it my system that's the problem? We only get 1meg broadband being so far from any exchange.

It probably is the data rate, I Mb is only a nominal number, it could be less. Mine's not bad, a bit coarse though - if my club shaft was that shape I'd never hit one.

Jerry.....what a great post!

Just clicked and it runs instantly and beautifully on my Acer Aspire One Linux.

One of the joys of using a mini-laptop/netbook.......only a 8.9".....

PS - if ANYONE is interested in buying a super-portable netbook for internet use only and is considering Acer or Asus or the baby Toshiba one (someone on here has one)....please, please beware of the Linux ones....some may NOT work wirelessly with certain routers/broadband. If in doubt, buy one with XP windows.

tis the same link that the media player uses from the p2p website. If any one has trouble watching on this link there are alternative methods using sopcast or veetle.
