Posted to ask what peoples experiences are of them and at second hand prices it might be worth a punt as I'm losing confidence with my Scotty Cameron Newport 2.5 and its only 7 weeks old

Anyone got a spare in great nick you want to turn into cash?

just saw the scotty 2nd hand in AG at £120, poor condition one as well.

theres one I'm watching on ebay at £25 so far, thing I dont get about ebay is its not always the highest bid that wins, if theres a reserve price it wont sell no matter how much of a feeding frenzy there is for the 'original Tiger driver signed by him' starting at £10........... so the one at £25 might have a reserve of £80 not making it good at all

yes I understood that Gibbo, but as you said you wanted the Scotty I just mentioned AG had 2nd hand poor condition ones at £120

thanks ForeRighty, having researched it more today it looks like the Xg #7 has a soft insert (Luke has a hard one oooeerr missus), apparently the iX #7 black is the hard insert so best I look at that first then if alls well will sell the Scotty here.

Ahhh you little tinker:smirk:

its actually a very nice putter, however, thanks to the excellent Ping App for the iphone its shown me I have a strong arc even though I thought I was pretty straight, the XG Tour is face balanced ideally for a straight back and thru player where my ideal would be a toe down (Ping Anser type), thats the only reason for the sale. They are still going for £125 second hand on ebay so it will hopefully make someones day getting a rare new one.
