Wanted callway ft-iq imix

Looking for about a 10 degree not bothered about shaft but looking to pay as little as poss as will be the back up driver to my ft-9!!! cheeky I know!!

If you had asked a month ago I'd have no idea as always struggled with the driver, my fault not the clubs! Over the last weeks something clicked and hit good lOng drives with it regulary! I bought when the square thing started, went to nec golf show and tried the ft-I but at £300 was out of my league! So tried the hippo and actually hit it better! If I get hold of an ft-iq you can have it! It's a nice club with a huge face! I've been banging it a a good 270-300 on the good days, it took me by surprise as ive been out driving my big hitting friends recently! Shouldn't of bought the new one!!

Ive actually got a hex2 hybrid, think its a 4 iron equivelant, lovely to hit. Lost the head cover though so its tucked away in the shed.

I have a FT-I 11 degree neutral(rare) I-mix head and either a Fujikara stiff or a Aldila Nv65s shaft if interested.

I will discuss a price via pm if interested depending on shaft, not after stupid money. I paid a lot of money for this as the neutral version is hard to come by so I had it sent over from Usa. Only selling as I have a imix ftiq 13 degree which seems to suit me and my short course better but had great results with it in the past, 40-50 yds longer than the ftiq. The nv65s is a classic shaft more suited to the aggressive player I would say, regularly drove 330yds with this when my driving was in the groove. The Fujikara is the standard stiff shaft that came with it and did not get on with it when bought, but recently tried it in the Ftiq and everything down the middle! A bit smoother than the Aldila nv65s but suited to a good tempo and both work well,, with the Aldila I seemed to have the occasional snap hook. I have had the Ft9 imix head and the Fti is a bit more forgiving.

I love my ft-9 but it has a tendency to go right slightly or a lot! I've got the regular and think its a little to soft for me. So I'm looking to use something a little more forgiving on the off days. How do you get on with the 13 degree ft-iq I've been tempted with a few as seen them cheap but worried the loft was too high.

The Fti-q is a great driver,not as long as the Ft-i but more forgiving. 13 degree is not too lofted, most people play too low a loft and wonder why they cannot hit it straight! Coupled with the fact that for most amateurs swing speed, the experts say that the ultimate loft for best carry/distance is 12.5 degrees. My playing partner(14 handicap) and myself(9 handicap) both have 13 degree imix Fti-q's and are the most consistent driving in our group, but then again, most of them are 16-24 handicap and trying to hit 9. 9.5 or 10.5 degree drivers! My average is around 270-280 yds and my partner around 240 yds but rarely go well off course. On wednesday I was driving well into a 35mph headwind and still driving it 240 yds, the ball was rising and dropping straight down into the wind, but the guy i was playing with had a 10.5 driver and was still the same 30-40 yards behind me into the same wind. I have tried to recommend to lots of people i know that anyone over 10 handicap should have a driver between 12.5- 14 degrees and enjoy hitting the fairway more, some listen and a few have tried it and told me it was the best thing they have done to improve there golf.
