Looking for any Callaway driver (of reasonably recent origin - say 2-4 years) with 12 or 13 degree loft. (Looking to replace the 9 degree head I've currently got, as my shortening of the shaft means it's de-lofted too much now).

That doesn't make sense.

Shortening the shaft will make the shaft play fractionally stiffer and effect the swing weight but it won't "de-loft" the club head.

Ok, I may not have expressed it correctly - but I'm going on the advice of the pro at the club. But in essence he said now that I've shortened it it will be a bit stiffer (as per Jacko) and that I'd be better going up a couple of degrees. (Was 9 degree adjusted to +2 ). I may have misunderstood but I thought he said it was "effectively" delofted. Either way, now I've shortened it I'm straighter & less wayward, but the ball goes on a much lower trajectory - extra loft should get it back in the air.

Or a different shaft, can you tell me what shaft you're currently using in it please.

So are you currently at 11degrees and still getting a low trajectory?
Also do you have a weight port? And whereabouts is it?
If you put more weight rearward that can help.
Other tricks are to look at your impact on the face and consistency. When you know this you can look at moving the ball up and down the face with tee height.
