come across some strange items on eBay that people try to sell, but really, a used golf glove!!

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/124875828142?_trkparms=amclksrc=ITM&aid=111001&algo=REC.SEED&ao=1&asc=20160908105057&meid=3f1f7811f56c4c66b24928a3750fcb96&pid=100675&rk=4&rkt=12&sd=174058597919&itm=124875828142&pmt=1&noa=1&pg=2380057&brand=FootJoy&_trksid=p2380057.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci:88b6cbd9-275f-11ec-9024-c2d48df409ef|parentrq:5a74de4f17c0aaecc8245e49ffff5bb2|iid:1

any offers?

Many a time I've seen the classic "collection of 5 tees"
The other week someone was trying to sell half a golf ball....
Times must be hard

He describes the condition as used but 'Good'. I think they need to revisit their scale of what constitutes good condition.
I get gloves [ free ] from a pro I know, he's used them for maybe a couple of holes but still look brand new.
I use to get his shirts and pullovers too, but sadly they're too small for me now :cry:

I think if you dropped that off at a charity shop they would put it in the bin. Who on earth would buy it in that condition, especially for £5.50 when you can get a decent brand new glove for under a tenner. Always amazes me that people bother listing things for a few quid, after eBay fees and postage he'll likely be left with £1 - £2, hardly worth the time it takes to photo and list it an item, then parcel it up and take it to the post office.

For sheer audacity - I've got to hand it to him.

Perhaps there's a new meaning to "add to basket".

Is it possible to enter a negative value into "make an offer"?
I'm thinking - minus £2 - so I would get it for 50p.

I was going to put a ball I had played 72 holes with on eBay.. was the only way to get rid of it as I kept finding it despite really trying to.

Tbh it never ceases to amaise me the stuff people sell and the prices they want for things. There was one on FB market place locally selling two Aldi cycling tops, they wanted £30 for the two, the same tops are on sale at the moment instore at 8.99 each??

Few years back when ebay was really flying high, a local news team picked up some rope they found washed up on a beach and listed it. "Money for old rope ". They interviewed the purchaser ?

IV saw jobs lot of used socks on eBay, one man's junk is anothers treasure is the olld saying but used socks come on,
There are definitely some blokes that would be interested in those. I used to work for an airline, and several of the cabin crew used to sell their old shoes on ebay for £100+.

Yesterday I saw a 3 wood , can't remember the brand but it was one of the big 5, advertised for sale.." with a shaft"
The fact that the shaft was from a completely different brand seemed immaterial.....
