Sorry chaps if you've already been discussing elsewhere. Would be interested to get your thoughts pre and post WC... Can GB&I win this year? If so, why? If not, why not? On paper looks like we're up against in...

A few pics here courtesy of Getty. Two relaxed camps at the moment... is anyone up there this weekend? What does the weather forecast say?

Going to be tough, omission of David Law could hurt us. Looking out the window of Talisman towers the weather is grim in the Granite city, forecast is iffy, with ex-hurricane katerina heading our way, time for the GM brolly I think.
Good luck guys.

Grab yor helmets , were away :D :D, just throw in a tiger question aswell & sit back :D

GB&I will need to play there socks off to beat the strong American team. The weather could help us though, forecast is for strong winds with poor visability Sat morning.
Yanks wont be used to playing in wet weather gear on windy cold links :D.

Going on Saturday, the weathers not looking good ,rain was forecast, will be following Paul Cutler with some guys from Portstewart

Hopefully it will be a team of great individuals rather than a team of great players as the yanks don't usually gel as a team but fingers crossed for some great golf

I am up there Saturday and Sunday and I think the Americans look good for the win but you never know in matchplay.

is it on terrestrial ?

Yes it's on the snore fest BBC.

I was thinking today that I had slipped up as I should have gone straight from St Andrews to Aberdeen and went to the golf tomorrow then to top it off I was offered tickets tonight when I got back home!

Opportunity missed! :(

BBC aint even showing it live. Showing this mornings foursomes instead of the action currently in progress.

Unless they've stopped play and the website hasn't noted it?

That's the BBC for you,a shower of amateurs.....no pun intended.

Tomorrows singles will probably be recorded also!

The sh1t has hit the fan now with major controversy about Senior having a Pro (his brother) caddying which aint allowed.

Much a do about nothing really IMO.....a strange ruling, who's to say that his brother as a Pro will be better than say me caddying??

Utter crap. These players are as close to Pro's as you will get....times have changed and I feel that ridiculous rule needs changed too.

Thankfully both teams addressed it sensibly. As they say, its a rule that does not apply to any other competition they play, just the Walker Cup.

what are your opinions on this, the third match out this morning finished on the sixteenth, everyman and his dog walked across the green to shake hands and the like, surely this was not correct when there was a possibility of another match following on within 10 minutes.
