why does my vokey rust underneath during the round? its not an oil can its chrome, will ap2 forged irons do that?

Because you don't keep them clean and dry. Vokeys like a lot of wedges will rust if not looked after. AP2s won't unless they get chipped or scratched which they inevitably will. Clean them and keep them dry as well and you'll be fine

Most wedges are soft steel and will rust more easily than irons. A soak in WD 40 sorts them out and if you wash them in car shampoo it puts a water repllant coating on all clubs. The big thing is to dry them soon after a round or a clean.

When I finish a round i clean all my clubs and my irons and wedges I wipe dry with an oily rag, this keeps them nice and rust free.

Are you sure it's rust ?!
Rust won't appear on a club in 18 holes if you are keeping the dry

It won't rust over 18 holes.
I have 2 chrome Vokey's and there isn't any sign of rust and I'd be surprised to find rust on them. They are not forged and seem indestructible to me. I don't give them any special care and they are perfect. When I get my Nike pro combo's Xmas I will be keeping a close eye on them as they are forged.
