Vegas golf

I didn't realise you needed a travel bag to go to Vegas, if I'd known that I would have given you a decent one ;)

ha ha Vegas in Feb then Dubai in June. tbh the one you gave me is in the garage and Ive not looked at it. When I get it out ready I may still decide to go buy one.

played paiute course Sun Mountain = Snow Mountain ,only two courses at that time. About 45 min drive from Vegas - -

The courses have been confirmed for the vegas trip next month.

Practice round and round one at Reflection Bay http://reflectionbaygolf.com/
Round 3 & 4 at http://www.lvpaiutegolf.com on the Sun Mountain and Wolf courses
Rounds 5 at Prim Valley http://primmvalleygolf.com/

Anyone ever played these or know of these?

Even if the course are half decent I'll be happy. I can't wait.

if you like TM kit I would strongly advise a trip to the TM experience. Price of kit is fantastic and you get fitted by a TM master club fitter.

Played Reflection Bay and Primm.

Reflection Bay is at Lake Las Vegas, a few miles out of town towards the Hoover Dam. Nice course, good condition, although not the most exciting course you will ever play. Prime has 2 courses, and they are better courses with more interesting holes and more of a desert feel. Usually not bad prices either, if I recall correctly. It is a bit of drive, right on the Nevada-Cali border.

I hear the other best course options in town are Paiute and, if you can get on/afford it, Wolf Creek.

Also played Royal New Links, the course supposed to have replaces of Open Championship courses. If you have never played the 17th at St Andrews in 95 degree weather, it is an experience, but otherwise I wouldn't bother.

We land on Monday afternoon in Vegas so are going to take a trip here to warm up for the first round on Tuesday.

All the golf has been planned for us by a golf company so not much flex to play other places, or time to do or own thing 5 round in 7 days.

The time has come. Off the the airport in a few hours to meet the team and have a few beers before flying tomorrow morning. I'm so excited.
I will keep the forum up to day with pictures throughout the week!

My 2015 season starts here :)

I've played Paiute Wolf and Sun. Wolf was more challenging, but I think I preferred Sun. Great facilities and lovely courses. The ball absolutely flies in the warm air as well. Backdrop is stunning.

We played it in May and there was a lovely breeze blowing helping to keep us cool and I'll never forget some American guys complaining it was far too windy to play golf :)
