Apparently Rogert doesn't like Bolt's celebrations and says that a handshake is sufficient. Is he on the same planet? The guy had just smashed a second world record.

Bolt knows that in order to make money you need to do more than just run. He will be in huge demand from marketing agencies for advertising and for tv chat shows and everything else because he's a lively boyish outgoing cool character (as well as a fantstic athlete).
He's been a breath of fresh air and his 2 runs have been miles away the 2 outstanding moments from the whole Olympics.
He doesn't need to run ever again and he'll still be remembered forever more.
If you are as good as Bolt you can do whatever you want in crossing the line.
Quite amused by Christian Malcolm's deluded comments about how next season he'll catch Bolt on a bad day and beat him. That's like me saying I'll catch Padraig on a bad day and beat him.

I like celebrations. If you aren't going to celebrate, why put yourself out to win. Otherwise we might as well watch robots.

I have never been sure why football is trying to stop goal celebrations. If a player wants to take off his shirt and run round in circles, so what. It would be a dull game if he scored and just turned round and walked back to the center circle.
