Upminster Golf Club

Have played Upminster and found it to be a very friendly club with a traditional style clubhouse.
The first thing to watch for is crossing the road that seperates the 1st/18th from the other 16 holes. it can be quite busy. Both the 1st and 18th are par 3's which are on the same side of the road as the clubhouse.
Once you cross the road you play down into a valley with a stream coming into play on a regular basis.
There are some tight driving holes with the 9th (I think) having water left and in front of the green and out of bounds right. The 17th then plays back up the hill to the road and then the finishing Par 3.
Think you will enjoy it and as I said was made to feel very welcome at the end of the round.
