In America you could have a "Theo Fleury". A really nasty little five-footer. He was an obnoxious hockey player for the Calgary Flames at the time. I think it is a "Dennis Wise" over here.

I did hear a "Diane Abbott" the other day and not to do with a scoring mistake. It was hitting a ball into dense rough which was thick and horrible and you really wouldn't want to be in there.

The whinger who blames everything but himself for the bad shot - Rob Searle (used to work with him - think initial of first name) or Richard Head (was lead for a supplier I worked with - not difficult to sort out)

When you are caught short on the course - James Riddle (a physics teacher from back in the day - think Scottish)

Not sure about the unfortunate golfing names but there was a singer called Randy Van Warmer which to me sounds like some kind of dogging enthusiast.

Once Upon a Time - in a distant land far from home - an alien going by the name of Noel Edmonds did a regular 'gotcha' skit on one a TV program he hosted. One week his hoax was around cars - can't remember the set up. He donned a silly beard (hahaha) and hat, put on a terrible german/dutch accent - and called himself Hertz van Hire. He got away with it. Still not very funny mind...

Cant make sense of Dele Alli, just hear Deli Alley, like a dead end street of delicatessen shops.

I guess you had to be there...

Hogan, there was a Puittenham member called Jimmy Riddle, surely not the same one.
If so he is stalking you.;)

MacFarquar and Smellie were the two Edinburgh gents who first published Encyclopedia Britanica 250 years ago,

I heard a great one yesterday. A ball that is close to being out of bounds is a Brexit. You're not sure if it's in or out so you'd better have another go.
