Trilby Tour 2011

Goodwood is lovely Rick, I had a game there with GM on a trolley test day, the same day as the festival of speed.

Really nice stretch from the 2nd through to 13, only one poor hole IMO which was straight up a hill to get you back up to the finishing holes.

The 2nd is a beauty, rescue to the top of a cliff then a 9iron or so to a green 50 or 60 ft below you. It was the 1st when we played as they had shut the opener because of all the priceless motors that were coming in for the festival. I'm sure they would have loved us hitting a cheeky shank into one of their front wings.

Lovely place.

Goodwood is an interesting place - I have played there a few times and not seen anyone play to their handicap - it has some very nice holes - I don't like 1, 17 and 18 - on the clubhouse side of the road - the rest are, for sure, a tough track. small greens, often pretty quick - don't look in good health but can be very slick. It is a test of endurance.

Not too many appealing options for £250! That buys a decent 3-day golf trip!

All paid up,playing the KP Club. I know it's not the best track on the list but it's my home track and I like the look of the Buckinghamshire!!

Having watched it from outside the ropes last year I'm excited as hell to play the event. Even if I do look a *** in a hat!!!

Chosen my outfit, probably won't be a surprise to see what I'm getting:
