Trilby Tour 2011

After watching it on tv last year, i was thinking of having a go, then i saw the price :mad:
Not worth that to play last years scottish venue. if it was at Loch Lomond poss.

I'd look a right TW*T in one of those f*cking hats anyway :D

Patrick, for the £250 entry fee you get:

Course fee ( £40 - £120 depending on venue)
Breakfast & Dinner (approx £30)
WH shirt (RRP £90)
WH trousers (RRP £130)
WH Belt (RRP £50)
WH Trilby (RRP £30)
Golf bag ( RRP?? approx £70-120?)

Course was nice for the money.
Breakfast was shite. Dinner was good though.
Shirt was "ok".
Trousers were crap with a capital C
Belt was gross. Wet look leather???? Feck that.
Trilby. Get one of those on the seafront for a fiver
Golf bag? Even James didn't want it as a freebie for caddying!

You don't have to buy the gear, it's included in the £250 entry fee.
They mentioned last year on the 1st tee when it was raining a bit, that if you wore waterproofs over the WH gear you wouldn't be shown on Sky, so I presume if you didn't wear the WH gear at all, then same would apply. Probably a condition of entry that you have to wear it.

I suspect the Scotland course will get announced in the 2nd phase.

Without the WH gear on Rick, you wouldn't be allowed on the first tee mate.
I did enjoy the day at Bearwood last year but WH did come across as a right little Hitler.
And do you remember that gorgeous blonde with the manky teef?

Thinning one out of the Bunker on the 18th then duffing the chip and 3 stabbing for a blob in front of the galleries & TV cameras.....priceless!! :o :o

I really don't get it with this event.

For that money you can play many a great,great course and wear what you want and still have change left over.

If I wanted to dress like a *** and get on T.V. I would enter It's a Knockout.

It's an event for wannabees with egos who are pining for a second of fame on T.V,paying over the odds to wear naff gear and play 3rd rate courses..........that of course is only my opinion. :rolleyes:

Ranked 81st in England,England,not UK....pretty much backs up my claim I would say.
