If anyone is going to visit a toys r us......can you let me know how much they are selling Nintendo switch for?

Really interested as they have gone into administration today, unfortunately I live blooming miles from one.

Very much doubt they will be flogging kit off any cheaper than anywhere else, most stock will end up going back to suppliers etc.. I read online today that Toys R Us even with a "everything must go sale" are still more expensive than Amazon and Smyths... Any wonder they have gone bust!?

Have to say I find it quite distasteful that on a day when several thousand people look set to lose their jobs you can only think about grabbing a bargain on the back of their unfortunate situation.

That’s the modern world for you now

Remember those riots in London - how many used it as an excuse to get free stuff and just look at what happens on Black Friday

People will always look for something on the cheap or try and get it without paying for it

And I find it distasteful that you hunt down my posts and find umbridge with everything I say.... But that's life.

Re Toysrus and Maplins, bottom line, overpriced. I lost the count the amount of times I could go into either shop. See goods I liked, price checked them online, then walked straight outta the shop and bought the same products online.

I’ve only bought two things from maplin...

A cable in an emergency, came out about the same price as rushed from Amazon so no loss.

Second was on special offer and I talked them down a touch as their offers were a bit weird and my argument seemed to make sense. Paid £10 less than delivered from amazon.

I have to say my first thought on seeing the OP was "the vultures are already hovering". For ToyRUs and Maplin it's not looking good for either and you have to feel for the employees. Whatever you think of the company's pricing structure, they're the ones who are going to suffer.
