<u>REPORT THAT TIGER WOODS RECEIVED $55.4m FROM DEVELOPER IN DUBAI.</u>

United Arab Emirates (AP) — A United Arab Emirates business magazine says Tiger Woods received $55.4 million from a developer to promote a local golf resort that has yet to be built.
Arabian Business reported Thursday that it has seen documents confirming Woods received the payments to promote the $1 billion project, with the course at the centrepiece of a complex of 100 villas, 75 mansions and 22 palaces.
Woods refused to comment on the contract he signed with the course developer, part of a conglomerate controlled by Dubai's debt-squeezed ruler. But he said he hoped to meet with developers to discuss reviving the project while he is in Dubai

On a serious note my personal opinion is that tiger us losing he's status and the chance of becoming number 1 again doesn't seem as easy. He may as well coin in with the money now, it all goes towards he's pension. Let's be honest none of us would knock it back
 
What is more obscene...if it is true.... they said on sky today that after his round he was at the range and there was loads of kids watching him with a load of security around tiger. After he finished on the range a car drove up and took him away and he didn't make any attempt to go over and give the kids watching a autograph.

As much as i love Tiger if this is true it really is shocking from a bloke that has said he needs to change is attitude. Not to mention he repotdley got paid $3 million just to turn up at the tournament!
 
Tiger was also paid $3 million to play this week as an appearance fee!

I dont get why people get up tight about him not signing autographs etc etc, when people queue up to watch me work it pisses me off too, he must be worth the 3 mil otherwise he would not have got it.

Why is it obscene? It might be more money than any of us can comprehend, but that doesn't make it obscene. There's kids in the far East that would consider a couple of grand a month an obscene amount of money.

People wouldn't pay him that amount of money unless they thought they could make it back - Bacardibatman has shown how the plan obviously worked on paper (if not sand!).

The people he works for deal in billions - look at Nike for instance. Tens of millions are neither here nor there if you shift two million £100 putters because Tiger had one at the Masters.

But at the end of the day he is a role model to alot of young kids and adults! he has said himslelf after his personal problems he needs to aknowledge his fans more, especially the kids that look up to him.

So is it too much for him just to spend half an hour of his time to just scribble his name on some kids tshirt,hat etc and give them a memory they will never forget.

Wonder how he would feel if sumone famous snubbed one of his kids if they wanted an autograph.
