Too good to be true

The question is: What is a fake?

Some of these "bargains" are cheap and nasty copies others are factory back-door specials as most of the club components are manufactured in China and it is, I am told, relatively easy to produce a few clubs extra to those ordered by the brand.

Personally I would be too sceptical to go anywhere near them but I have seen and hit back-door specials which were no different to the official clubs.

"Shaft Length: Defualt is standard. But you can extend or shorten(+/-0.5.+/-1.0.+/-1.5.+/-2.0)"

Have I missed a new trick in adjustability?

Of course they are fakes. They look like titleist but doesn't actually say titleist on them at all.

"About Listed Pictures:

Most of golf clubs pictures we listed on store are logo removed for some reasons. But all the golf clubs you received will come with brand logo and be same as you bought in your local store. If you want to see complete pictures with brand logo. Please email us and we will send to you soon. Please note that not all pictures we listed are logo removed. "

Apparently they add the lettering for you!

Guy who works at my range has a fake vokey. I have used it and in all honesty it works well. I can see why people get caught out with these things or don't mind as they don't take the game serious and think these will do them rather than spending the full price on the real thing.

Personalized...

Nearly all clubs are these days, either fully assembled or components.

They are, but I would not trust any club bought directly from China, especially clubs that are significantly cheaper than they should be. I don't see why you'd risk paying quite substantial amounts of money for clubs that are very likely fake.
