Last years manager of the year in some peoples eyes may not even make it to the opening day of the season. Apparently a large wager laid this morning on him being the first to go. Crazy world this Premier League.

You could have got 40-1 at 10am yesterday morning until a South Coast William Hills took a substantial bet on him leaving.

TP lives in Poole, Bournemouth, so fair to say people close to him knew he was a goner a long time before these 'clear the air talks'.

As for his next job, West Ham is a lot of peoples choice, as he is highly rated by the Gold brothers.
