Just wanted to let Tomtom users know of a glitch with the software for some of the current models.
I had an issue with my 820 Live yesterday where it couldn't get a GPS fix unless I reset it. It seems this has been a common issue due to the leap year and has affected a lot of units.
"Potentially affected navigation devices are:
Start 20/25, Via 120/125, Via LIVE 120/125, GO LIVE 820/825, GO LIVE 1000/1005/1005 World."
Tomtom have now sorted the software and recommend that you update the system via My Tomtom. I have posted the link to their response on the subject below:
