I realise this has probably been asked before, but I'm needing to get the driver sorted in my bag for the new season (currently trying the Rapture V2 and TM superfast early model)

So I've narrowed down to these 3 as ones I quite like the reviews of each, just looking for experienced views now.

Any owners or ex owners care to post any pro's and con's about the
RBZ non tour
Superfast 2.0 not TP
Titleist 910 D2 or D3

in the past I would have only gone tour/TP/small head etc but maybe time to get a tad of forgiveness....

Hi,
I have tried both the TM Drivers you mentioned. When you catch them, they go as long as anything you will try. The problem I had was that the shafts are a little lighter and longer than other drivers, so my dispersion (and consistency) was well off. Also, the lighter haft made me hit the ball really high (even with a 9 deg)!
The trick is to get the right head/shaft combination. I wouldn't rule out the TM as long as you get the right shaft. Short of that its titleist all the way. :) :) :)

you can pick up a 910 quite cheap second hand. they are worth every penny. plus it looks the best on the market imo :)

Owned 1 but hit all 2 on your list. Rbz just never felt right to me and glad I was only loaned it. I hardly ever hit a straight drive with it and it tended to want to go right on me which is crazy as my miss is a hook. Shaft also felt horrible and I got no extra distance over a normal driver either. Liked the 910 D2 and tried it with both a UST V2 Shaft and the project x shaft. The project x shaft was too stiff for me so used the V2 shaft most of the time. For a Titleist is was quite forgiving. Not as forgiving as the K15 I had previously but was still forgiving. Looked great and had a nice sound to it. Never got on with the adjustability side which kept making me tinker. If you do get the Titleist get it set up professionally for your swing and leave it. The reason I sold it was my K15 was longer, more forgiving and was just better.

Now have a G20 and wouldnt dream of changing it

Love my D2 and wouldn't change it for anything right now. Had it over 8 months and never had a bad day with it.

RBZ was not a bad driver but just wasn't suitable for me.
Superfast 2.0 I found very hard to control with the extra length of it. Don't know anyone who kept theirs. Whereas know a few RBZ owners and lots of 910 owners. It's was the best selling driver of 2012 in my pros 3 shops.

oooft where do i start, rbz with a non stock shaft can work to a degree, got cally nv ripd in mine and i can feel where the head is at. but ive changed to tit with my 4 wood and hybrid, easy to hit and nice shaft(kali). really looking for a bargain tit driver as they are soooo easy to hit i jus tswing and its out there.
ive also got a r9 which is about 420cc defo not as forgiving as 460. but it goes, thecraw would probably tell you to get fitted for a shaft for your rapture but would more than lightly say get fitted for shaft in the g20.
my head is slightly messed up with drivers, got two TMs with 3 shafts, got a mizzy jpx800 on the way, just got a brand new on the market shaft but dont know what to do with it, lol

Out of those on your list Id go Tit. 910 D2 everytime
The RBZ (non tour) is a decent head, but a 'weak' stock shaft, so if need change, adds expense
I hit the TM Superfast 2.0 at range (range balls) and loved it, went on trackman with it.......:( way too much spin for me, thus lost distance

But.................Id still have the Rapture V2 before them all, with the right shaft, will be a good driver for you:thup:

don't confuse the TP specifications - it's easy to do!

They are all 460cc - the TP superfast 2.0 has a heavier shorter shaft, lighter swing weight (D4 rather than the SF2.0 D9) and isn't 'draw biased'. It is definitely worth trying.

The SF 2.0 has the longest shaft, the RBZ next, and the SF TP the shortest.

RBZ has the advantage of being able to change shafts - but again the Tour version would probably suit you better.

As a right hander you should be able to try/'test' them all pretty easily!

One of my playing partners bought himself a RBZ driver for Xmas. I had a swish with it but not keen. Personally think he hit his Ping G10 better, and the Prolaunch red shaft suited more than the stock Taylormade one.

Go for the Titleist 910 D2.

Thanks fellas, some good points to make me think.

No-one has the 910 to buy anymore so it would have to be 2nd hand off ebay just to even have a try. The RBZ is still 'current' and I do like the Matrix shaft but I suppose its down to what head/shaft combo works for me.
Thanks for the input

For me mate there is only one option out of those 3 get the superfast. Tried the others and I thought the super fast was longer and straighter than both of those other options. Ok I was hitting the superfast TP model. But the only difference I saw was that the head was not draw biased and it had a better shaft in it over the standard model. I though end up with an R11s as I liked that more than the Superfast TP. I carry a 3-wood in it and it will be a cold day in hell when that leaves my bag.

The RBZ has a unique feel to it and if you're a feel player, you'll want to demo it extensively first. The Titleist 910 feels like a proper driver's driver and I'd happy put one in play, too.

Would not rule out the Tour version of the RBZ. This is not so much a smaller head as a deeper face giving a little more workability. Had mine as a replacement for 910 D2 with which I was pretty consistent but would not now change back. In each case I was fitted for shaft, loft etc;
The answer is................................

Whatever works for you.

Superfast 2.0 every day of the week. Tried it when I got my R11s along with the 910 and RBZ. I hit straighter and longer than both of them. I was using the TP version though that has a better quality shaft with it being A Matrix but the only other difference over the standard one was that it was not draw bias. Between that and my R11S I loved them both. I do have the Superfast 2.0 TP 3-wood and it will be a cold day in hell when that leaves the bag.

I was in Nevada Bobs today as well as a local independent retail store and both each had over half a dozen 910 in stock. £199 was the marked price so I would guess you will pick up for a decent price. I believe some AG stores still have some too.

Titty 910 all the way!
The best driver I've hit. (although I haven't tried the other two you've mentioned)

Plus Titleist is a lot classier than TM. ;)

Bit difficult to pass comment and advise in this thread if you have not hit the other 2 mentioned.....

But there is nothing classier than a white headed driver with a pink shaft.........:whoo:
