Have any of you tried these yet ? I have played one round with them and found the ball flight to be a bit erratic - Probably just me but i wondered what your thoughts were

I used one last Thursday and i liked it, similar distance to the Z Star i usually use but with a bit more spin on the shorter shots. When i finished the round it was still in very good condition. I'm not sure if i'll use it again but i was impressed with how it performed

Had a round with a Penta last week. Can't say I noticed anything out of the ordinary about it.

Only comment I'd make is the lifespan ain't too good. After one round with it it looked like Pro V's or Srixons that have done me a good 4 or 5 rounds.

I was informed by the pro at our place that you can take your pick of the "high end" balls none are going to be totally different to the others.

My partner wasn't overly fussed with his and prefers his Pro V

Have a guess at who said partner was :o

Yes I have tried them, got a sleeve from AG. Kindly gave one to Homer to try out that he then lost between holes!  I didn’t really like them, they felt hard and didn’t spin as much as a Pro V1X I usually play with. I’ve never liked TM balls, Titleist every time for me, wither Pro V1X or an NXT.

I tried them and thought they were impressive. Liked the performance of the ball alot and although it did feel pretty hard off a driver the felt nice around the greens and responded very well.
Got some in the bag ATM and it has replaced the Pro V for the moment. I am trying the callaway tour ball out which is also very nice so might be sticking with that for awhile.

Pro V's are still up there for me but I think the Penta has the edge.

Of all the premium balls I wouldn't play is the Srixon Z stars. Not really a premium ball in my honest opinion when it comes to performance around the greens.
