Hi, I saw this club for the first time in AG the other day. Is it just me or is this just the best looking hybrid there is, looking down at address. I have been saying my hybrid is the one club I wouldn't change, but having seen this and the Nike VR one im now tempted to try them out.
Has anyone else seen them yet? Opinions...

Seen it but not hit it. Sadly I'm fast losing patience with TM as a brand and their new product line although I hear the Superfast is going to be replacing the Burner wood and hybrid series and leave just those and the R9's

Homer, is the burner range dead now then?

What is the 2010 line up as it stands? Time chech 19:29 2nd March 2010. If no reply by tommorow i will assumes its changed again.

I've had a look at the Nike VR, very interesting look to it. Paint job is silver to give the impression of more loft which it certainly does appear to do. Nice shape to the head, am taking a demo out this Friday for a knock and will let you know.

As I understand it from the TM rep in the driving range tonight their irons will be the Burners and the R9's and their driver range is the new Superfast burner and the R9. The tour burner, and regular burner woods are not in production anymore and nor are thing like tour burner irons

Yeah til next month then it'll be TM superfast burner TP HD yadda yadda yadda.

Personally TM is overpriced, overhyped shite. If they actually priced their gear a bit more competitivley from the outset instead of dropping the price shortly after release then i'm sure people wouldn't get annoyed as they currently do.

OT, do you believe there is much if any difference in TM's kit in the last 2 years?

Ok, I know TM release new models too often. The only problem I have with this is that they should bring out the TP model at the same time as the standard version as the TP usually has a shaft upgrade.
But I pick the clubs up and they just look right at address, IMO Over the past few years the only brand that hasn't released an ugly wood/rescue (especially drivers) is Taylor Made. I may be a TM whore but the clubs just inspire confidence. So I buy them.

I'm not having a pop at TM owners, if their kit is right for you then sound but i have a weary feeling of any TM kit i see in the shops. Usually because i know their kit is overpriced and will be reduced sooner rather than later.
