Bearwood Lakes is on there, and interestingly they have chosen the par-4 13th rather than the more commonly featured par-3 14th across the corner of the lake. I think that is not a bad shout. The 13th is a very good hole and offers an interesting test. The 11th is another candidate, especially off the black tees which changes the angle of the drive from straight up the fairway to one which needs a right to left shot.

Funnily enough, my favourite hole at Bearwoods is the par 3 12th. I love standing up there looking down on the green with the backdrop of Pine trees. Always reminds me of the best of Scotland that one.

Personally prefer the hole before. Once saw a fox emerge from the woods on the right of the green, look around, then pinch the only ball that was on the green in 2 (not mine of course). None of us scored well after that.

Yes, good hole. That run from the 11th to the 14th is my favourite part of the course.

The 12th has had some trees thinned out behind the green, so there will be a nice view through to the lake adjacent to the 11th tee.

My course is on, but I wouldn't call the 9th the signature hole.
To me it's the 12th, long par 4 with a pond at about 120 - 160 from the white tees. You then have to play a long club (5 iron to 3 wood) from a down hill lie to a slightly elevated green.

The 9th is tough, SI 2, but mostly dependant on the wind direction (which can be strong on that hilltop).

I agree it is a nice hole mate just not sure it would count as the signature hole, now the 17th thats a great hole and probably one of the best par 3's around.

13th is a cracking hole. Makes you think a bit. I always come up bloody short with my 2nd shot, no matter how good the drive has been! Trouble is, anything pitching pin high is off the back unless you get plenty of munch.

On the front nine, the 7th is a cracking hole, but my favourite is the 13th, except when it is into the wind, and I can't reach the fairway.
