Mike Any news when the gear might be on general sale

Email will go out to Centenary Society members giving them first dibs next week

I'm really pleased with the gear - its Oxford Golf apparel which is very high end (polos are double mercerised 100% cotton and sweatwers are Peruvian pima cotton) and used by a lot of the top clubs in the UK and USA but we will be selling it a very competitive prices circa £25 for polos and £30 for sweaters (incl free P&P)

Just a heads up for the gear that Mike kindly sent me.

The polo shirt has a lovely feel to it. Very soft to the touch and I don't think it will wrinkle up easily.
I've got a really nice blue one that is quite an unusual shade, not your "common or garden" blue. It has the Oxford Golf logo on the right sleeve, and on the left the "Golf Monthly 100 years" centenary logo. Very fetching.

The sweater feels superb. Beautifully soft and lightweight, ideal for those summer evenings when the temperature starts to drop a few degrees. It's not a thick wooly jumper for winter use.
I chose a lovely shade of pale green (Guacamole) and love it. Anthony (TXL) chose a really nice blue one which he wore to Dale Hill on Wednesday. Again, I was really taken with the colour of it, not your usual Navy Blue. I will be ordering one in the same colour just as soon as Mike makes the purchasing details available. This also has the same logos on the sleeves.

All in all I'm well pleased with the new gear. The name "Oxford" had slipped under the radar where new clobber was concerned but having sampled the goods first hand I can highly recommend them if you are looking for some new shirts/polos. And the prices are ultra competitive when you look around on the 'net.
Sizing? They come up a little on the larger size, I usually buy gear that fits a 40"/42" chest and in some brands I have to buy large. But the "medium" in the Oxfords fits me perfectly.

Sounds like some cracking stuff, do you think the jumper will "bobble" easily, I have a couple of Kartel ones that do it.

I sent off my e-mail for an order form as requested on the web link three or four days ago - Nothing - nada. Anyone would think there was something more important taking up their time. Didn't they leave a work experience guy back at GM Towers for such an eventuality or is it a BBC like blow the whole budget junket to Kent

So what with an order in for new clobber, an entry to Sunningdale next March and Camberley Heath in June I guess the plans to give up altogether are now firmly a thing of the past Martin?
