A good steak is top tier food for me,battered onion rings,garlic mushrooms

That’s the problem go out with my MiL somehow I always have to foot the bloody bill

Please stop with the side dishes I’m salivating!! I really want a steak now

Once had a steak at the Elm tree at Elmton ( that was after a starter of Squirrel). Anyway it was gorgeous, medium well done. It was so tender. Anyway I told the manager it was the best I have ever had so compliments to the chef. His response surprised me. It was “ it’s not just down to the chef, you could have cooked that. It is down to the meat I buy. I do not buy rubbish steaks. They are quality steaks”. He was adamant that the best steaks are from quality cattle and just coz it says Rump, rib eye sirloin etc etc don’t mean quality.

It might have been Desperate Dan, but I remember someone replying to how they wanted their steak doing saying to just walk the cow past a radiator.
