Things That Gladden The Heart

I bet what she got paid for decorating such a venue wasn’t a nightmare though 😉

Nothing better than feeling like a kid again, plus they donate money from every booking to Great Ormand street in honour of JM Barrie.

She did mention that an in all, she ended up making four trips down to London, Driving in and out of London / ULEZ was a ball ache with the vans. One got clamped 🤣 with the staff she took she paid out a fair old wedge.

How did Missis L manage to slip that pirate boat in her handbag when she left, that is amazing. 😍

Oh the ULEZ will absolutely bankrupt you if you’re in and out regularly.

The ship was just a small part of the whole experience and presentation. There was so much more to it and with it, would highly recommend the whole experience for anyone in London for the day it’s amazing and despite its cost I’d say fantastic VFM.

If sh could’ve stolen it I’d definitely have found a way to! We do get a wonderful little goodie box to take away as there was so much food.

Just dropped a major clanger. Shown missis T the photo and she has said “
That looks gorgeous”
In a way that told me “ I will be looking into that” 😳

How did you get there? Walk or taxi?
We drove, it was yesterday and Everton were up at Newcastle. There is a massive car park next door, Nelson Dock, that you can use for the tours. No issues getting parked there, we arrived at 10 for a 10.30 tour. We were the third car in a vast open space 😂.

You can see how awful it would be on a match day, getting away afterwards in particular. Ideally they would build some sort of tram track to take you back into the centre (pipe dream but I'm throwing out ideas 😄).

I'd have thought walking is the best option, taxis would get stuck and just be frustrating. Might be wrong, I haven't seen it in action.

They did talk yesterday about opening another walkway along the dock that would at least split the leaving fans and ease some pressure. Doesn't bring anywhere closer though. That aspect was sadly ignored/neglected etc in the planning and building process 🙈

Bristol had a LEZ, last year a section of the M5 was closed and the diversion to the next junction went through it!!!

Odd thing is about ULEZ ( or one of the odd things) Heathrow, when I went from there last year, the carpark I used went to great lengths to point out that it is out of the ULEZ zone. When you look at the Zone, how comes it misses out Heathrow which is a massive contributor 😳
Certainly gladdened my heart not Paying for ULEZ
