Getting our new Volvo XC40 on Thursday so called current car insurer and got a quote of £258.

OK it’s until the existing renewal date end June 2026 so not for a full year, but for near 10 months it was still a good bit less than we had expected so I went with it.

I remember playing there many, many years ago.
If my memeory serves me, I think that it's possible to see seven counties from the top of the course. I also seem to remember that sheep do most of the greens keeping!

Just back. Crikey how much fun was that? Amazing views, so super holes and wonderful turf.

Full green fee? £27 in today's market, that's absolutely crazy. 🤣🤣

You'll be pleased to know there is a long running mince pie thread that will no doubt be bumped up again shortly. Recipes change slightly each year so the best one year isn't necessarily the best the following year.

For me, last year's best was Tesco's finest 👍
