Evening all
Having an issue with a thermostatic bath valve severely limiting bath water to 32c.
This is around 12 degrees cooler than the sink tap in the same room.
Fully aware that modern homes have limits applied which mean the maximum temp from a tap, should not be above 45 ish degrees.
I’ve adjusted the valve fully anti clockwise, until I was unable to turn anymore.
id estimate that this equated to a quarter of a turn from its previous position.
This has increased the bath temp to a whopping 33 degrees…
My question is, can you adjust thermostatic valves to increase internal movement ranges, or is a different valve the order of the day?
Thanks in advance.
