What did the TV programme makers do before the pixelating machine ?
It seems they pixelate more and more things these days.

they had a circle or square covering the face, had to be added to the original vid tape and would 'miss' sometimes revealing whatever it should have been hiding.
Now its all computer generated and 'follows' whatever you masked
